What is a Webinar?
 A New Approach to Professional Development
A webinar is typically a one hour session and taught by an expert in the field. The Instructor teaches from his office. The participants attend from their own offices. There is no travel involved. All you need is access to a PC, web (internet) and a phone. The teaching is done over the phone. The participants are viewing a Power Point presentation and listening to the instructor. They can ask questions during the session. Usually there is a Q & A session at the end as well.
Webinars are becoming a very popular tool for professional development, as there are no travel hassles and expenses, and busy executives find it easier to spare one hour at a time.
